Hi guys ; i've got good news, i was able to install PPC imac g5 from a Mini Debian 7.1( WEEZY)32bit Kernel Linux
3.2.04-PowerPC64 Gerome .3.4.2. after almost giving up as i said i'm a hard and quit is not my thing maybe pacience.
Now i have a Debian desktop and everything runs ok exept no flash player and is a litle slow and was able to get firefox plug in for flash Player, it opens but a litle freezing and no sound it might be due low mem ram ,any clues thanks.
I have zero experience with PPC machines, but how did you install the flash plug-in? Just in case you haven't done it this way, you should install it from the repositories with the following command (after removing the previous one, in case you installed it manually):
Code:
apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

I don't think there is a flashplugin for PPC Linux from Adobe, but maybe Gnash works.
Moved to the Debian forum.
thanks i tried gnash but it did not work i also did
apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree but no flash player the solution was download the flash player for utube in the browser but it freezes and no sound.i think i need more memory ram there is a slot empty that can be accessed from the bottom of the display.anything else you think of i apreciate.
I just looked at Adobe's site and could not foind a Flash player for PPC, so I don't know what you are using, but I am pretty sure that it is not the Adobe plugin.
Assuming that you use Firefox, type
Code:
about:plugins
into the address bar and tell us which plugin is there for Shockwave Flash.
