pidgin on lenny - connection times out
 

so, I thought that ipv6 was crippling pidgin (similar to firefox), but it's not. (blacklisted ipv6 module).

I have gtalk, yahoo, msn, and aim accounts, and all of them time out eventually. however, I can log into irc.

ubuntu works (same network, it uses gaim though), as well as pidgin under windows (same machine).

any thoughts?
