Pidgim (instant messenger) with skype !! for Debian stable

Hello,

I read that we could use the messenger of skype into Pidgim. Sounds very great here is the howto: http://ben.amasoean.de/articles/2007...in-pidgin.html

Is there someone that would have an update to our sources.list for the Debian stable ?

Did you understand the article at all? You will need to have Skype installed for the plugin to work. Also, the plugin is already built, you don't need to compile anything or add anything to your sources.list. It is just a small binary you need to download. Do this:

Code:
cd /usr/lib/purple-2
su
wget http://www.myjobspace.co.nz/images/pidgin/libskype.so
That is all there is to it. I would not use it though, since it still requires Skype. In that case, I'd just, well, use Skype =). I understand that a plugin on any messenger support Skype is a hard task to accomplish, if at all possible. But that plugin, really would not help me.

Best of luck!
