PHP version in Debian 5.0

Hi there --

I am planning an installation, and I needed to know what version of PHP is available for the 5.0 distribution. Additionally, if I need to upgrade to a later version of PHP, can it be done via a Debian package, or would I need to upgrade from source? Thanks.
