PGP error

Using Sarge w/2.6.8
I have been using Synaptic for several months with no problems. In attempting to update package list with "re-load" the process hung on file 13 of 13 according to progress bar. After a minute or so of waiting I cancelled and received the following error message:

W: GPG error: http://security.debian.org sarge/updates Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 010908312D230C5F

This has never happened before.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You can read this page to find out about secure apt although how you managed to get that version installed on Sarge is beyond me.

The keys for the Server change annually.. looks like you need the 2006 key.

debian:~# gpg --keyserver keyring.debian.org --recv-keys 010908312D230C5F
debian:~# gpg --armor --export 010908312D230C5F | sudo apt-key add -

another method that should do the same thing ...

wget http://ftp-master.debian.org/ziyi_key_2006.asc && apt-key add ziyi_key_2006.asc
