K, this is probably more a newbie q, but, when installing debian, during the install (if possible) where do I install kernel-source, headers, compiler, and anything else I will use frequently? I was having problems installing a driver and figured I'd re-install and see if i can install the above during install...

BTW using the bf42 install

well with debian you can just do it right after the install with apt-get and the respective packages.
during install it would be with tasksel and dselect
