Opensource option for jdk and icedtea
In view of recent reports about java security issues, it is said that opensource versions may be safer. Which one would be the best for a Debian-Testing system of various packages available in repositories:

openjdk-6, openjdk-7, gcj-jdk, gcj-4.7-jdk, gcj-4.6-jdk or default-jdk ?
Similarly the options for icedtea plugin are:

icedtea-6-plugin, icedtea6-plugin, icedtea-7-plugin, icedtea-netx or icedtea-plugin.
Which one should one choose for installing?

I use openjdk + icedtea: 6 vs. 7 is mostly a matter of personal taste, but some things (like Minecraft) only work with one or the other. I have no idea what the difference between icedtea-6-plugin and icedtea6-plugin might be, but either one sounds fine.
