Oh no ... network adapter problems in debain net install

I have two ethernet adapters for my laptop: a FA410TX revision C and a SMC2208 that uses the Realtek 8150 chipset. I'm trying to install sarge with the 2.6.3 kernel on my laptop, and it depends on one of these cards to work for sucess. But ... well ... so far, no success. Can anyone help me try to get one of these two cards working so I can install debian?

Thanks!!

hello

This probably won't help much, but ....
Using the standard tulip drivers didn't work well for me with netgear cards. A 'patch' and and an alternative exists. And, of course you added the option= to define card one, card two?

Perhaps if you included details of your TS efforts other members could narrow down the reasons for the failures better than I.
