nvidia drivers from deb pack

Hello! I just tried to install the nvidia drivers on my box (2.4.21-4-k7) and I get some errors after the installation of the driver (the deb pack)

I followed the instructions from the /usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-src/README.Debian.gz file (the second part 'cause I didn't had the headers - I have 2.4.21-4-k7 and the available were the -5-k7 headers) and when I try to insert the nvidia module in the kernel I get the following messages:

Code:
# modprobe nvidia
Note: /etc/modules.conf is more recent than /lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/modules.dep
/lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o: unresolved symbol __pollwait_R132a0080
/lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o: unresolved symbol irq_stat_R06b80811

/lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o:
Hint: You are trying to load a module without a GPL compatible license
and it has unresolved symbols. The module may be trying to access
GPLONLY symbols but the problem is more likely to be a coding or
user error. Contact the module supplier for assistance, only they
      can help you.

/lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.21-4-k7/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.o: insmod nvidia failed
I see it's an unresolved symbols situation, but what can I do to rectify the problem?
