I have installed cups. I am using debian and a HP printer "deskjet 350C" . I am able to print test page. But when I am trying to print a document, it is printing in a unrecognised letter.
I do I configure that?

I suggest trying turboprint . It really is good and easy to setup.

Thanks for your help.Unfortunately "turboprint 1.85" does not support the printer "HP Deskjet 350C".
