no hdc and hdd device nodes ***SOLVED***

I'm missing the devices nodes for the CD-writer and the DVD-player. They
are both attached to ide1.
From /var/log/syslog:
Nov 28 12:38:47 pingu kernel: hdc: PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W1210A, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
Nov 28 12:38:47 pingu kernel: hdd: DVD-ROM DDU1621, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
so the kernel does see them.

Info:
Debian testing
kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686_2.6.8_i386
udev_0.042-1_i386
hotplug_0.0.20040329-16_all

Anyone knows what I should do to make udev create these device nodes?

Answer:
Yes, I do :-) Add "ide-cd" to /etc/modules.
