network/options is deprecated
Well, I just want to know what exactly means that "network/options is deprecated"
I'm running Debian Sid, so far, I read some comments about this matter but I have to say that I'm still have questions about it I mean: What exactly this mean? This could be a problem or it's just a message? If it's a problem, have a solution? I read that a possible solution is just remove the options file, maybe I missunderstand that so thats why I'm asking Edit: (Just adding more info just in case will be needed) I'm using 2.6.15-1 kernel and my /etc/network/options have this: Code:
cat /etc/network/options Thanks by any response Bye |

It means that file should not be used because support for it will eventually disappear. You can safely delete the file. The options you have set are better set via /etc/sysctl.conf
