Yes I did install ubuntu through windows. I used wubi so I didn't have to partition the drive in any way. My problem is I cant get the debian-installer to work! After I select the languages etc, it tells me to reboot. Once I do that I can select from Windows, Ubuntu, or the Debian-Installer. It's just that the installer wont work
It says that it could not be loaded because the file is missing or corrupt.
Also, I am trying to get Debian to dual boot with windows. (However Ubuntu will remain until I can get Debian working.... So it will be a tri-boot system so to speak for a while.)
