nagios in debian how to use after installation

my nagios installation is complete
but i dont know how to use it
how to monitor
i am using LAN

Assuming you're using nagios3, does
man nagios3
give you any useful information?
Remember that you must run nagios3 as root since it's executable is found in sbin/
