mysql-server & cron.daily error

Subject: Cron <root@llamakc> test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || run-parts --report

Unknown problem retrieving MySQL master log filenames in
ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: 'debian-sys-maint@localhost' (Using
+password: YES)
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/mysql-server exited with return code 1
Google didn't turn anything up on this one. Has anyone else ran into this? Fixes?

try to find out what this script does. then follow the steps and check where the permission problem is. i thing the password or user this script is running as is configured somewhere in /etc/mysql* and seems to be not valid requesting the wanted data.

sl mritch.
