My Debian system does not delete the content of /tmp automatically

Hi all,

As subject, the content of the /tmp directory is never deleted automatically at shutdown or reboot.

If I am not wrong, I remember I changed (I don't remember why I did it

) the permissions and owner (my user) of the directory.

So ... what's the default permission and owner of the /tmp directory ?
