My Debian system does not delete the content of /tmp automatically

Hi all,

As subject, the content of the /tmp directory is never deleted automatically at shutdown or reboot.

If I am not wrong, I remember I changed (I don't remember why I did it ) the permissions and owner (my user) of the directory.

So ... what's the default permission and owner of the /tmp directory ?

Thank you.

Amazing isn't it?

Seems to go that way when I do things like that.

I am expert at screwing up systems. Not bragging. Just a natural skill.

Yes, sometimes we have to make errors in order to learn from them.
