music cds...

hey guys i wana rip a music cd and i get this error when i mount it.. anyone know why?

kurrupt@evil-empire:~$ mount /cdrom
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb,
or too many mounted file systems

You don't need to mount to rip. Just use whatever software it is you're using without mounting.

a follow up: you CAN'T mount an audio cd. There's no filesystem to mount. I recommend grip: apt-get install it. You'll dig it the most.
