mounting windows in linux

I am using the debian distribution. I have a hard disk icon on my desktop.When I click on it I am getting the message mount point win does not exist. this is a copy of my fstab # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 /dev/hdc1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1 /dev/hdc5 none swap sw 0 0 /dev/hdb /media/cdrom0 iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0 /dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0 /dev/hdc3 /win ntfs umask=0222 0 0 sI would like to be able to access my windows partition, and have my wine program be able to find my windows partition. I would appreciate the help.

I know this sounds kind of [duh] but... did you created the /win folder? Cause the error you mention is caused by a missing folder or I think sometimes due to access credentials.

Try using a "more for the public" location such as "/mnt/win" or /media/win".
