Mount SATA drive (not RAID)
I've asked about mounting RAID devices earlier. Now I've changed the config, not using RAID anomore. Now there's just two SATA-drives connected to the on-board Silicon Image 3112A controller.

How do I mount these drives? Do I still have to compile RAID drivers into the kernel (or as module) since they are attached to a RAID controller? Where are the device files for these drives located?

sata support is built into the later versions of the 2.4 and all versions of the 2.6 Linux kernel. you shouldn't have to do anything special.
