motion kicks skype out with uvc but not gspca (lenny)

I have two lenny penguins.

One of them, which uses uvcvideo for video, does not work with skype and motion on. Skype chokes complaing that device is busy (/dev/video0).

The other, which uses gspca for video, happily works with both skype and moiton.

Is this problem related to modules? or something like jack??

Any input will be appreciated.

Happy Penguins!
