modified videodev module for debian on SBC

I'm currently running a version of debian (2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1-ts8) off of a Compact Flash residing in my TS7200 ( and i'm curious to know how I could get some sort of modified videodev module working on it. I'm currently trying to install some custom made (not supported by Creative Labs) drivers but apparently it requires the videodev module to appear when I would do lsmod. However, all I have running currently is:

ts7200:/usr/local/src# lsmod
Module Size Used by Not tainted
sd_mod 11148 0 (autoclean) (unused)
scsi_mod 53756 1 (autoclean) [sd_mod]
vfat 10168 0 (unused)
fat 29668 0 [vfat]
usb-ohci-ep93xx 956 0 (unused)
usb-ohci 15580 0 [usb-ohci-ep93xx]
usbcore 55960 1 [usb-ohci]
pcipool 2096 1 [usb-ohci-ep93xx usb-ohci]
Just curious if there's anything I can do. Or perhaps a way to modify the Makefile (i can post). I just want the image stored on the board, as in I just am concerned with the data, I don't want to view the image from the board, I'd transfer it to a USB CF and view it from another computer.

Hopefully there's something that can be arranged.

Have you tried modprobe videodev?

ts7200:~# modprobe videodev
modprobe: Can't locate module videodev
Since I'm using (I assume) a slightly modified version of the Debian distribution, some devices were not loaded or even present within the various files. My whole question is whether I can get around this by not having any association with the video drivers.
