Unhappy Modem hangup

Hi all
I've got some problem with my connection
on a Woody.
Here is the log:
"Connect: ppp0<--> /dev/pts1
modem hangup
connection terminated".
So I cant connect
I've followed the speedtouch howto by Papillaut
on sourceforge (if u want to see the config of chap etc...)
Does anyone have an idea?
Thx
