System Debian buster AMD64, (last upgrade was in April, when testing was stretch)
Desktop is xfce4.
Symptom Frames are lost as seen in attached file. (at middle, after Keyword, a flame is missing. (although it is possible to type into invisible one). So are frames around Search, Reset .....
Question Does anybody have same symptom?
I have not spent time to look around bug report. I am not sure if this is iceweasel related or some other ones.
While I investigate, I appreciate any information.
Thanks in advance.
cheers

Rep:
It looks like a setting within iceweasel. All the settings are on the page: about:config. Search on "frame". Maybe this one: "devtools.command-button-frames.enabled".
I checked config. Unfortunately, the one mentioned in post #3 is irrelevant. (I changed the value, then reloaded an affected page.) Other configs, which are not default (boldface) are browsed, but I don't think I found the clue.
I also find that scroll tab in scroll bar (right edge of the window) is also missing. (please refer an attached file in #1)
During my troubleshooting process, something unexpected happened.
This is what I did.
With two comps. First one, which does not show frame, (NF); Second one, which shows frame (F).
From (F), ssh login to (NF) with x forwarding, start iceweasel.
Frames show as seen in a file attached.
I also tried ssh the other way around. As expected, frames were missing.
My current assumption is that the problem is some sort of compatibility with gdk, gtk or X.
Both comps have intel graphic chip, with i915 kernel module.
I will update.
cheers
