Mepis 2004.06

Hi.

Trying out MEPIS, so far it's quite good, it's a bit diferent than rpm os.

I need to enable the dhcp service so i downloaded the dhcp3 server package and installed it, configured the dhcpd.conf file but i can't find the services tab so i tried to start it like i did in FC3 > </sbin/service start dhcpd> but there's no such command.

So...
1) Is there a GUI tab of services?
2) How do i enable services from command line?

Thumbs up

I found an answer to that question and in case it interests anyone...

The file is /etc/init.d/dhcpd3 ,

It enabled the service for me and all that's left is to get it to start automatically with a script or something.
