Trying to upgrade tothe 2.6.7 kernel, but when I type 'make xconfig' this is the error i get:

I have no idea what this means, i currently have kernel 2.4.
I did 'apt-get install kernel-source-2.6.7' to get the source after i did a list of latest kernels.
Can anyone help?

If you have a ".config" file you want to update, save it as other file first. Then enterThen restore the ".config" and try make xconfig again.
