Looking for a debian based system, Using sqeeze, Stable...

The debian i downloaded didn't even have a network manager, what the hell is up with that? How do manege wifi networks without any networking tools?

Dose anyone have a remix, with network manager installed and any network drivers the pricks didn't put in in the system.?

Not looking for anything larger then 700mb..

Try READING the Install Guide. Or better yet go play with Ubuntu, you will fit right in.

Use a cable, install network manager, and then start your wifi.

Did you try to configure wireless network during installation? Debian detects network interfaces then offers network config before you can even partition the disk

I see you've been here for years lowlux. Then you know how things work and you're just trolling.

I really do realize that this is not a nice thing to say but it is so true that it makes me hurt my mouth grinning.

I'm thinking someone got a lump of coal and stood up for the big bash last night. LOL!

Whereas the debian everyone else downloaded did... which leads one to suspect a possible PEBKC situation...

Exactly what I was thinking!

Forgive my ignorance, but what does PEBKC mean? Is it one of the plethora of abbreviations and acronyms used on computer fora, or does it refer to a specific person or incident?
I occasionally have difficulty understanding what is written in forum posts, because I am not familiar with the specialised terminology many people like to use. Once in a while, I cannot figure out what an acronym or abbreviation stands for and am left guessing.
This is one of those times.

Don't feel bad about that. I had to look that one up.

I still prefer picnic = Problem In Chair Not In Computer

Easier for a grumpy geezer like me to remember. I use it a lot. Most of my problems boil down to that.
