local repo


how do i add
/home/debian/debian5DVD1
to sources list?(so that i can avoid inserting DVDs eachtime to install a program.)

What is /home/debian/debian5DVD1? Do you want to know how to mount an iso image?

its where the whole installation DVD was copied.
I found the solution.
to sources.list, add 'deb file:///path/to/copied/folder/ lenny contrib main'
