libpam-mount gdm shutdown reboot problem
Hello,
I am running Debian Sarge (3.1) on an IBM Thinkpad R50 Laptop. I am mapping my university home directory (SMB) to a subfolder in my unix home directory with libpam-mount each time I log into my computer (GDM). When I log off, my university home directory gets automatically disconnected.
The weired problem I have is that shutting down and rebooting from the GDM welcome screen doesn't work when the libpam-mount module is enabled and "Login Screen Setup -> Security -> Secure Action Menu" is enabled. GDM restarts instead of shutting down or rebooting.
However, when disabling "Secure Action Menu" shutdown and reboot as an ordinary user works fine with libpam-mount enabled. Once logged in, shutdown and reboot within a Gnome session works also as expected.
