Lenny + NetworkManager freeze
Every so often when I log in on Lenny and NetworkManager does it's thing and tries to connect to an access point the system will randomly freeze. I know Lenny isn't "stable" yet, but has anyone else been experiencing this issue?

I am using Lenny. NetworkManager is working fine with me in both Gnome and kde desktops. Check if there are any dependencies that are not met by opening a terminal and executing the following commands:

apt-get update
apt-get install -s

I would suggest using WICD, the native network manager does not quite cut the mustard.

This problem doesn't seem to be only the Network Manager. I've experienced this system freeze mid session a few times. Normally when X locks up for other reasons I was able to simply restart it. There was a post in the news forum recently about a similar issue on ubuntu.
