laptop doesn't wakeup from sleep

Hi i just installed sarge on my ibook g4. I made it go to sleep by installing pmu however it won't wake up. I've heard problems of video corruption when people try to wake up their ibook but my problem is different. It's powered off. The caps lock light doesn't come on and i don't hear any noise from the machine. Does anybody know why this is happening.

Thanks

I don't know anything about the iBook hardware, but on the IBM laptops what's causing most problems when resuming is graphics, sound, and USB (at least USB2.0). Try to remove related modules when suspending, and reload them when resuming.
