Konqueror: how to seek for plugins?

Hi!
I've successfully installed (in Debian 3.1 Sarge) the Sun Microsystem Java software jre1.5.0_08
-------
Then I've learned Firefox how to seek for that plugin by introducing a suitable symlink at /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/ ; that symlink targets to ~/jre1.5.0_08/plugin/i385/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
-------
Now Firefox and Java together works very well.
-------
Now I'm interested to learn Konqueror about how to seek for Java plugin (like Firefox already does know). I would guess there is also a suitable directory to introduce a symlink at, but I have no idea which is the right place to introduce it.
-------
Could anybody please help me anyway? Thanks in advance for any hint!

Instead of using the java plugin konqueror uses the jre's bin directly. Go to the Java & Javascript configuration and point to the right path for the bin.

Thanks mebrelith!
I was not able to find a solution by editing configuration files but found out a KDE interface solution. Here is the solution, which most likely you are referring to:
-------
Open: "Control Center -> Internet&Network->Web Browser->Java&Java Script" and then introduce the "Path to java executable"; I introduced my preferred path <path>/jre1.5.0_08/bin/java/ (and then pressed the "Apply" button from the window)
-------
However, I redundantly added the following step:
Open: "Control Center -> Internet&Network->Web Browser->plugins" and then add the path to the preferred plugins; I added <path>/jre1.5.0_08/plugin/i386/ns7/ (and then pressed the "Apply" button from the window)
The <path> from above depends on the concrete linux box of the user.
-------
I would appreciate very much any alternate solution that does not depend on KDE, GNOME or any other window interface; I mean a solution by editing configuration files (if possible).
-------
Thanks again mebrelith and thanks in advance for any file editing solution!
