Knoppix 3.4 make partition writable for everyone


Knoppix 3.3 right click on a partition mount then right click again and change to writeable.
Knoppix 3.4 how do you make it writeable runing as liveCD?

Just left click on the icon for the partition to automatically mount it. Then right click on the icon and select actions>change read/write mode. It will say "Are you sure?" a la windows, select "yes". This should work for linux partitions and fat partitions.

Knoppix 3.4 is supposed to allow NTFS write access using captive, but I have been unable to get it to work. Anyone out there know how to use it?

Just Right Click Actions not using KDE to hang OS.

The actions options as new instead of directly seeing >change read/write mode had me confused.
Starting with a left click on the icon brings up kde and hangs the computer for more than 5 minutes.
This is unacceptable like all of the 5+ minute hangs from KDE.
