Unhappy KlamAV - Update Process died unexpectedly!

Running Debian Testing and just installed KlamAV.

Upon klamav startup, it pops up a window that reads
Quote:
Update Process died unexpectedly! Did you kill it manually?
The same message is seem while trying to do a update of the database through the update tab.

Appreciate any advise.

klamav same prob

I'm using Debian Etch and have the same problem with klamav. freshclam
works from the cli and also clamscan. I would like to get this working
for my new linux user grandson. If I find anything I'll post.

What version of KlamAV are you running and what version of ClamAV are you running? This issue normally happens when you don't install the correct version of Klamav for the version of Clamav you are running.

Hope this helps.
