Kino will not capture as User in Debian 3.1

Installed Kino Video Editor on Debian 3.1 Sarge stable using Synaptic.

It works fine as root. As any other user it says:
Code:
raw1394 kernel module is not loaded or failed to load.
I think it is because my users to not have permission to use this modue. How do you change the permissions of the raw1394 FireWire module?

I had similar problems with PCLOS and kino, have a go with the instuctrion here:

http://www.pclinuxonline.com/wiki/DigitalVideo

It got me fixed, although I did not see any eth1394 problems suggested in the instruction.
