Keyboard is messed up

I just installed Knoppix 3.3 to my HD, but now some of my keys are wrong. I get quote marks when I type an @, and "z" comes out "y". It only does it with certain keys.

when you boot the kernel, try passing it the parameter for a us keyboard layout (can't remember it off the top of my head) or look around in the various configuration programs. i'm betting that your keyboard layout is set to the wrong country.

Thanks! I found an option to reset the keyboard layout in the KDE Control Panel. Apparently Knoppix defaults to German.
