Keyboard doesn't work

Hi Everybody,

Hope you are all doing well.

I recently got into a confusing problem with my debian 10 (using cinnamon de)
When I enter the login menu, I am unable to type anything, I tried to connect different keyboard but with no success. my display manager is lightdm.
So I tried disabling lightdm, I got to the terminal and was able to use it properly, but when typing `start x` session x appears and then again I am unable to use the keyboard. In addition I entered the recovery mode and tried installing gdm but with not sucess(some apt-get problem appears)

*I think maybe I messed something up last night, when I tried to install KDE and now its confused.
Hope you can help me and point me to the right direction.
*If that matters I am using dell xps 13 9370 laptop.

Thanks and more health to all of you!

Maybe try the following.

Quote:
sudo apt-get install --fix-broken --assume-yes

The --fix-broken part of the command can be replaced with -f and --assume-yes with -y or --yes for convenience. This will not install any package in particular but "can omit any packages to permit APT to deduce a likely solution", as mentioned on the manual page.
