Keyboard and mouse problems

I get this message all the time when i am in console after first reboot: Keyboard: Unknown scancode e0 59
The mouse don't work as it should, it clicks by its own so it is very hard to do something. And also when i tried to copy something in a textfile my computer started pasting it all the time, like i would have been pressing CTRL+V like every 2nd second or so.

My keyboard and mouse are microsoft wireless comfort keyboard and microsoft wireless mouse. And also how could i get all the extra multimedia keys to work if i get this fixed and can use linux at all?

Just to make clear, it works perfectly in windows.

You have the mouse and keybord plugged into the wrong ports, just switch them around.

LOL? One is USB, other is PS/2 so i don't think i can put them wrong. Also i don't think they would work in windows if i had them plugged in wrong.

Move your ps/2 one to the other port. Windows probably handles this more gracefully. Humor me.

but in that case the color codes and symbols are wrong and also they work in bios and if bios handle THAT something is wrong. But i read on google that it might be cuz it is a multimedia keyboard for when i searched on the error alot of results was about multimedia keyboards but all was in languages i don't understand >_>

OK i fixed the mouse problem by using a usb-to-ps/2 converter so i have it in ps/2 instead of usb. But they were NOT in wrong PS/2 ports

thanks! (microsoft wireless mouse woes)

as my first post I wanted to say thank you

I have the microsoft wireless comfort keyboard which uses the wireless microsoft optical mouse 2.0

The keyboard worked perfectly, but the mouse went insane after the first click.
Switching up the mouse to PS2 instead of USB fix it.
such a simple solution :P

Just adding my story so the next person searching will have an easier time.

thanks for your help,
Rexen.
