kernel-image-2.6.10-1-k7 module probs + some ?
Hi everyone
When I boot my brand new debian sid box, I get about 15 lines of something like : ERROR: removing 'some_module_name' : device or ressource busy. These are all modules I don't need and don't match my hardware. I tried rmmod and it said the same thing, I have to use the -f (force) switch to make it unload. But how do I configure my system so it doesn't load them in the first place? Other than that, everything seems ok :) Thanks Yanik |
Programs like kudzu, discover and hotplug load modules on boot. Also modules listed on
/etc/modules are loaded. But if the module loads itself on the first place and/or gives "Device or resource busy" when unloading, I doubt if it is a wrong module afterall.. |
