kdmtheme installation problems
Hey all,
I'm trying to install a package called kdmtheme that should let manage the themes for the login screen. I've downloaded the .deb file. However, when I try to install it it says that it depends on kdelibs4. The problem is that if I try to install kdelibs4 through Synaptic, I end up having to uninstall what appears to be all KDE apps, and KDE itself. Any ideas why? I'm using Debian Sarge, and haven't upgraded to the 2.6 kernel yet. I do have KDE 3.4. I also have kdelibs4c2 installed. Thanks, Matt |
Ummm... have you voiced your concerns to the prog's developer?

Try switching your repositories over to testing (etch) momentairly then:
Code:
# apt-get update |
Quote:
Locate kde-kdm finds: /usr/share/doc/kde-kdm-themes/changelog.Debian.gz /usr/share/doc/kde-kdm-themes/copyright /usr/share/doc/kde-kdm-themes/README.Debian /var/cache/apt/archives/kde-kdm-themes_3.4-1_all.deb /var/lib/dpkg/info/kde-kdm-themes.list /var/lib/dpkg/info/kde-kdm-themes.md5sums What should I have done to get these themes? |
