KDE2 and Microsoft Virtual PC
I keep getting this error:
debian:/etc# kde2 xsetroot: unable to open display '' ksplash: cannot connect to X server Aborting. $DISPLAY is not set. ksmserver: cannot connect to X server connect() failed: : Connection refused i installed kde through the command apt-get install kde whats the problem? |
#apt-get install x-window-system-core xserver-xfree86
use #startx to open up kde. |
hmm thanks for the reply.. i just tried the suggestion out and it seems as if those packages were already installed
