KDE duplicate icons for mounted devices

I'm running Sid with the KDE 3.4-pre1 packages, but I had the same issue with KDE 3.3, and only on Debian installations (Kubuntu is fine).

I have a DVD drive. When a disc is inserted (audio, dvd or data cd, all the same), two icons appear on the desktop, one saying "cdrom" and the other "dvd". I'd like to have only one of them ("cdrom", "audiocd" or "dvd", depending on the actual media format). I suppose it has something to do with how automount notifies KDE... any hint?

Try Control Center -> Desktop -> Behaviour -> Device icons
and unselect the ones you don't want
