KDE clock 1 hour off system time

Hi,

I am using Debian (a hard drive install of Knoppix 3.4) with KDE 3.2.2.

The KDE Clock (the one displayed on the panel) displays time 1 hour ahead of the system time.

How can I get it to sync with the system time?

# hwclock --show
Sat Sep 4 00:01:44 2004 -0.166128 seconds
# date
Sat Sep 4 00:01:47 EST 2004
#

KDE Clock displays: 1:01 8/4/04

Thank you for any help you can provide.

I think KDE has a clock setting, sounds like daylight savings issue.

IIRC isn't there an option for KDE's clock to use the system time?

Sorry, I don't use KDE all that much so am not overly intelligent with it

That is a bug in one of the Knoppix startup scripts you should go to http://www.knoppix.net/forum/ and search on the problem.
