I assume your using Debian since you've posted this in the Debian section. Apt should be able to install any KDE apt you want. Don't be surprised though if Apt wants to pull in somewhere around ~30 other packages because you'll need a lot of KDE dependencies. You should have no problem doing it though.
Penguin Of Wonder is right, dependencies: there will be lots. Another thing I want to add, I used to run lots of KDE apps in GNOME (AmaroK, Klipper, Konqueror, Knotes, and more), and massive memory leaks started happening, It would use half a gig in an hour. So I would monitor how much ram they use for a short time, if it looks ok, then keep going (I now use KDE, made me much happier XD)
thanks for reply,
in fact I want to add applets not applications, I mean a quick button on the menu bar which is running autmatically. To be more precise I dowonload a kde applets kprayertime( which starts a the given time), on kde desktop I can find this applets in the menu list, and just pick it to put it in the menui. At a given time the applet runs. From the gnome the applets is not on the list so I can't add it to the menu bar.
thanks a lot
best regards
bela
