it will still work. when you install it, it will install all of the required dependancies, and work on either gnome or KDE. you will just have some extra KDE programs running under gnome. It shouldn't be a big deal unless your computer is really really old. (mine is 6 years old and I don't notice any difference in performance )

thank you for answer,
I tryeb minbar from unstable, it failed, it need more recent package than my etch distro. For this reason I want to use kpryertime. I received from debian-user an idea, to use gnome-swallow, but it asked for a program name, the applet doesn't have program: here is the content /usr/share/apps/kicker /usr/share/apps/kicker/applets /usr/share/apps/kicker/applets/kprayertime.desktop /usr/share/apps/kprayertime /usr/share/apps/kprayertime/kpt.png /usr/share/apps/kprayertime/kpt16.png /usr/share/apps/kprayertime/latlong.dat /usr/share/apps/kprayertime/madina.mp3 /usr/share/apps/kprayertime/madina_fajr.mp3 /usr/share/locale /usr/share/locale/ar /usr/share/locale/ar/LC_MESSAGES /usr/share/locale/ar/LC_MESSAGES/kprayertime.mo /usr/share/locale/bs /usr/share/locale/bs/LC_MESSAGES /usr/share/locale/bs/LC_MESSAGES/kprayertime.mo /usr/share/locale/es /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/kprayertime.mo /usr/share/locale/tr /usr/share/locale/tr/LC_MESSAGES /usr/share/locale/tr/LC_MESSAGES/kprayertime.mo /usr/lib /usr/lib/libkprayertime.la /usr/lib/libkprayertime.so so what to write as name of program?? thanks a lot |
there is a program called itools in the debian repositories. I don't know if that would do what you are looking for or not. check it out if you want.
