KDE 3.4 and DVD+RW
Since upgrading to 3.4, DVD+RW are recognized as blank, even though I've closed the nonmultisession disk. If I browse media;/ it lists the Blank DVD+RW with the other drives. When I try to open it, it states that media:/hdd is a Malformed URL. Nothing is mounted in /cdrom or media/cdrom. The only way that I have found that I can access these disks is to mount it in K3B and drag the contents from the preview window. It seems that DVD+RW aren't mounted because they are seen as blanks rather than DVD-ROMs. I've not had a problem with DVD+R or regular DVD's. My question is if anyone else has had this problem or might know what would cause this to happen.
edit:
The post title is probably a bit misleading since the problem isn't confined to KDE, it seems to have something to how DVD+RW are mounted. I first noticed this problem after upgrading from 3.3 to 3.4. Once I open the disk in K3B (and is mounted) I can access the files in the /cdrom directory.
