kde 2.2.2 - debian woody problems

Hi,

Has any one else had a problem with the theme selector that comes with KDE 2.2.2? Although I installed the themes package, none of the themes listed in the theme selector work. They all complain about not being able to find a .themerc or .theme file, when the file is clearly there! Even themes I download for kde 2.2.2 refuse to work.

I'm using Debian Woody, which comes with Kde 2.2.2.

Any help is appreciated, I've googled for hours with no luck and I'm just about ready to tear out my hair figuring out this one!

you have only to select the ARCHIVE of your theme and KDE install the theme itself..
