K3b and On the Fly burning

Hi there, I know that the 0.11 version of K3b fixes this problem, but now we got only the 0.10 version of the software, so it seems we cannot burn cds on the fly.
The problem is that I have not enough space on my /tmp directory to create an iso image of 600/700M, so I wonder if I could use another dir. K3b just tells me that, for example:

Code:
Could not open /usr/K3b data project.iso for writing
I also tried to copy all /tmp/kde-username directory in /usr and select the new path, but still no burning (same message).

I found this rep for 0.11 version of K3b
Code:
deb http://www.planet-moll.de/debian woody main
but it seems to be for stable, and I have unstable.

What should I do?
Thanks in advance

Use apt-get install -t unstable k3b and that should install the version from unstable assuming of course it shows up in apt-cache policy. You may want to purge the old package first before installing the new to get rid of the old libraries that will be left behind when the upgrade happens.

Code:
>$ apt-cache policy k3b
k3b:
  Installed: 0.11.9-1
  Candidate: 0.11.9-1
  Version Table:
 *** 0.11.9-1 0
        600 http://ftp.de.debian.org unstable/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     0.10.3-5 0
        990 http://ftp2.de.debian.org testing/main Packages

Thank you, but I noticed it was just a problem of permissions, so I burnt my CD by superuser. Now I think I'll wait for the official sid version on k3b 0.11.x
BTW what are ( if there are some ) the differences between on the fly burning and not? except the creation of a temporary big file. Is on the fly burning less reliable?

Thanks
