Angry Jigdo download of DVD-7 ALWAYS fails with just 5 files left to download

I haved tried 3 times to download DVD-7 from http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/...md64/jigdo-dvd, and every time it has failed with just 5 files left to download. It says:

02:12:43 (180.98 Kb/s) - 'debian-6.0.0-amd64-DVD-7.iso.tmpdir/ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/e/eris/liberis-doc_1.3.14-3_all.deb' saved [393078/393078]

jigdo-lite: ./jigdo-bin/jigdo-file: Invalid argument
jigdo-file failed with code 126 - aborting.
Press any key to continue ...

I cannot begin to describe how frustrating this is. All those hours of downloading for nothing! What the heck is happening here? When I try to just continue on, I get error code 3 aborts and have to just start all over.

I have successfully installed DVDs 1 and 2 with jigdo, but not 7. So I can't really speak from experience here.

However, if jigdo doesn't work, you are free to use normal http/ftp or download a torrent. Start the process before you go to bed and it should be ready in the morning.

How big is your hard drive? If it is big enough you can copy the files already downloaded on the dvds to your hard drive and then debmirror the rest. Once you have done that tell jigdo the location of your debmirror downloaded files and it will finish constructing the last dvd for you from them.

If you want a step by step I'll write it up for you.

Problem overcome but not resolved

I went ahead and used Bit Torrent to download the final two DVD's.
