Jessie: Change folder sort order


I recently installed Jessie and noticed that the sort order in folders does not differentiate between folders and files, i.e. files and folders are all sorted together. In Wheezy, folders were listed together and files were listed together.

Is there a way to make folders and files be sorted seperately, like it was in Wheezy?

Yu don't say, I will assume that you are using Gnome 3. Other people have faced that issue. Read about it here:
