Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 16


hi

howto install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 16 on etch ?

with

apt-cache search java

I get

sun-j2re1.5 - Java(TM) JRE, Standard Edition, Sun Microsystems(TM)


but howto know which Java Update is it ?

1.) download JRE

http://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP....linux-i586.bin

2.) fakeroot make-jpkg jdk-1_5_0_14-linux-i586.bin

3.) dpkg -i sun-j2re1.5_1.5.0+update16_i386.deb

4.) update-alternatives --config java
